A group of buddies and I rented 7 bikes (6 BMWs and a Suzuki V-Strom) from MotoQuest for a week long tour of Alaska. Every step of the way, from route planning and suggested accommodations to gear and insurance recommendations, the service from MotoQuest was outstanding. The bikes were extremely well maintained and held up to the beating of the Denali Highway and McCarthy Road. This is one of those ‘must do’ bucket-list type tours that simply knocks your socks off! We loved every minute from surveying the world from Osorno Volcano, to viewing the penguins off Chiloe Island to enjoying the magical surroundings of an Argentine Estancia! The 10 days on the tour really did provide a unique experience and it is certainly the best way to experience the stunningly beautiful lake regions of both Chile and Patagonia – on your bike with the wind in your face, the thrill of breath-taking views all around you and the open road in front of you.

I rented a Suzuki VStrom 650 in San Francisco and drove it one-way to Long Beach along the Pacific Coast Highway. After starting off a little rough when I showed up at their old location instead of their newer one, I was geared up and off. The bike itself was beautiful and in great condition. They were also kind enough to lend us riding jackets and helmets for the trip. The coast was beautiful and we didn’t run into any poor weather along the way. We reached their location in Long Beach without any issues. I hope to rent from them again either in Alaska or another one of their locations. It’s really hard to beat the option to rent in one location and drop off in another.
